How to order:

Our website offers a variety of collections, including watches, jewelry, wedding rings, wedding bands, and engagement rings. Our customers are free to choose which categories they want to browse or purchase from. Additionally, there is the option to leave comments and, if available, redeem discount codes.

We offer various payment methods to make your shopping experience as convenient as possible. Available options include PostFinance Card, PostFinance E-Finance, PostFinance Pay, TWINT, as well as common payment methods like Maestro, VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amex, and Union Pay.

How the ordering process works on our website:

Add items to the shopping cart: By clicking "Add to cart," you can add items to your cart without obligation. You can view all items in your cart by clicking on "Cart" or the cart icon. Here you also have the option to remove items.
Proceed to checkout: If you want to purchase the items in your cart, click "Continue." This will take you to the checkout process. If you agree to the terms and conditions, you can proceed directly to the checkout or payment panel without obligation. By clicking "Buy now," you complete the ordering process.
Enter billing and shipping address: Enter your billing and shipping address.
Select payment method: Choose your preferred payment method and, if required, enter your payment details.
Review & order: Check your entries. Here you must also accept the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) and the right of withdrawal.

After completing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Information about the time of contract conclusion can be found in the relevant section of the GTC.

1. Scope:

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the relationship between Oberturm Watches and Jewelry, Vordere Vorstadt 1, 5000 Aarau (hereinafter referred to as Oberturm oberturm.ch), and its customers. Deviating agreements require written form to be valid. The current and binding version of the GTC, as well as additional agreements and supplements, are published at oberturm.ch. These GTC do not apply to purchases made in Oberturm Watches and Jewelry retail stores.

3. Warranty (new items):

For all new watches, we grant generous international manufacturer warranties lasting 2 years. For new jewelry, the warranty period varies depending on the manufacturer and is generally 1-2 years. These comprehensive warranties cover all production and material defects, while specific exceptions apply for losses, damages, or normal wear and tear.

4. Warranty (used items):

We provide a 6-month in-house warranty on all used watches. This warranty covers the functionality of the watch. No warranty is given for water, shock, or fall damage of any kind. Accuracy warranty is excluded for used watches. Also excluded are damages caused by improper handling or interventions by the customer or third parties. For all used jewelry, we grant a 6-month in-house warranty with receipt. This warranty covers the functionality of the jewelry (clasp, etc.). No warranty is given for stone loss.

6. Availability:

Orders placed via the oberturm.ch platform are generally shipped within 3 working days after the transaction is completed. Our inventory ensures that all available products already in our store are shipped no later than the third working day after payment receipt. This applies only to products currently in stock. For special orders of wedding rings, please note that the manufacturing process of this special jewelry may take several days. We strive to make this process as efficient as possible to guarantee you a product of the highest quality. Please note that shipment of your order is always dependent on successful prepayment. Also, when selecting the payment method 'Bank Deposit,' shipment will only occur after successful processing of this payment option. We emphasize that displaying a product as 'in stock' does not guarantee immediate availability. If a product is shown as in stock but is not available, shipping preparation may take several days as we ensure every product meets the highest quality standards. To provide our customers with transparency and information about all processes, you will be informed about the current status of your order through automated notifications such as shipping confirmations and order confirmations. These notifications are intended to give you comprehensive insight into your purchase process and ensure you are always up to date.

8. Retention of title:

All delivered goods remain the property of Oberturm Watches and Jewelry until full payment of the purchase price (including all ancillary claims). Pledging, security transfer, processing, or alteration is not permitted without the express consent of Oberturm Watches and Jewelry. Oberturm Watches and Jewelry is entitled to register the delivered goods in the retention of title register according to Art. 715 ZGB. If the customer is in default with any payment obligations towards us, all existing claims become immediately due.

10. Payment methods:

All prices are in Swiss Francs including statutory VAT. You can choose from the following payment options:

10.1 Prepayment:

Our account details for your prepayment can be found in the confirmation email you automatically receive after completing your order. Your order will be shipped immediately after payment is received.

10.2 Payment by debit and credit cards:

Your secure credit and debit card payments are facilitated by PostFinance and Shopify Payments. Both PostFinance and Shopify Payments meet all common security standards.

10.3 Payment with Paypal:

Use the secure payment option with your Paypal account.

10.4 Payment with TWINT:

Your secure payment via TWINT is enabled through our system.

10.5 Payment on pickup:

Pay in cash or with debit and credit cards upon pickup. A valid ID is required for payment on pickup.

11. Right of return:

At Oberturm Watches and Jewelry, our valued customers have various payment options available, including prepayment, cash payment, EC or credit card payment upon pickup, Paypal, and convenient purchase on account with installment options via ShopifyPay. As a limited liability company, we have been registered in the commercial register since 2013. We place great importance on environmental awareness and rely on the multiple reuse of packaging and filling materials as well as a wide selection of Green Gold certified gold items. The sale of used items is not only ecological but also sustainable for us, as it minimizes energy consumption for melting down and reprocessing.

Our right of return extends over 14 days, with specific exceptions such as wedding rings, sale items, specially ordered, and engraved items. Returns must be complete and undamaged in the original packaging. After inspection, we refund the amount within 14 days, depending on the chosen payment method, directly to the specified bank account. Returns are not possible in cases of expired return period, damaged items, missing original packaging, missing accessories, or consumables.
